Laboratory
.Ash Determination According to TS EN ISO 3451-1 Standard, Polyethylene (PE) and Polypropylene (PP) granules are weighed according to the standard, the sample is burned in the muffle furnace at a certain temperature for a certain time, and the polymer in the sample is removed from the environment. By measuring the amount of ash remaining in the sample container, the amount of filler/additive is found as a percentage. The filling/reinforcement ratio of the material affects all its properties, especially the mechanical properties.
.Density Determination: According to TS EN ISO 1183-1 Standard (working with Archimedes' Principle), Density Determination is made to determine the mass of Polyethylene (PE) and Polypropylene (PP) material per unit volume. It is determined by the calculation specified in the standard by weighing the sample first in air and then in a liquid with known density (pure water) with the help of an analytical balance with a sensitivity of 0.001 g and a density kit
.Determination of MFI Mass Melt Flow Rate: According to TS EN ISO 1133 Standard, it is the flow rate of Granular Polyethylene (PE) and Polypropylene (PP) material in 10 minutes from an orifice under a certain load and at a temperature determined according to the standard. MFI mass melt flow rate determination is important in the customer's process (moulding, injection, extrusion, etc.). The MFI value of each of our produced Polyethylene (PE) and Polypropylene (PP) products is tested and its characteristics are determined.
.Determination of Volatile Matter Content: It is used to measure the volatile substance content of Polyethylene (PE) and Polypropylene materials at 105°C according to EN 12009b Standard. Determination of volatile matter content is important in the customer's process (molding, injection, extrusion, etc.). The test is based on the determination of the mass loss of a test piece at a temperature of 105°C according to the EN 12099b standard.
.Balance: Thanks to our analytical balance with a measurement capacity of up to 220 grams, precise measurements are taken up to 4 digits after the comma.
.Desiccator: It is the container that contains a desiccant material in order to protect the materials that are affected by moisture used in our laboratory from moisture.
